This project included the complete demolition of the original large 8 and 12 unit masonry and concrete apartments with large greenfield areas, replacing them with more traditional duplex and fourplex mixed income housing with through streets. This project included all the buildings as well as the streets, the associated utilities. A project challenge included driving piles and constructing houses next to a 200 year old masonry primary sewer main serving the City of New Orleans.
