There is nothing more gratifying than salvaging a rotting jewel! These three unconnected buildings with differing floor to floor heights posed a significant challenge to integrate them into one functional property. The combination of a novelty shop on the ground floor, dilapidated apartments, and 6 upper floors housing the remnants of unsold goods created the opportunity for a visionary revitalization. The floors were out of level, the roof leaked, and the windows were in deplorable condition. All of these elements were carefully studied, restored, and a design was developed that created one integrated apartment building with an exceptional roof top experience.
